BSI Lifestyle, international travel and concierge agency, with head office in London, searching for an ideal candidate to fill the remote position of Travel Advisor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Communicating with clients, receiving clients' requests via messengers and by phone.
  • Manage high volumes of customer queries including making & amending accommodation bookings, updating changes and processing payments.
  • Anticipate any questions clients might have about their travel requirements.
  • Organise transfers, rental of vehicles.
  • Booking and purchasing tickets for sports, fashion, concert and events around the world.
  • Recommendation and reservation of tables in restaurants.
  • Various researches according to the client’s request (like to find a specific personal items worldwide)
  • Use a wide variety of in-house systems and current database of suppliers.
  • Working closely with operational team
  • Reach out to suppliers for rates on hotels, transfers/transportation, private yacht, private jets & all other lifestyle requests.
  • Regular communication with clients – pre- and post-departure.
  • Ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed effectively.
  • Keep up to date with travel trends, restrictions rules and regulations
  • Accurate booking control, including checking of the drivers on route, flowers delivery, etc.
  • Making hotel & services presentations, if requested by the client

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in travel and tourism role.
  • A professional in-depth understanding of all travel and tourism related factors and policies including refunds, reissues, and itinerary changes.
  • In depth understanding of Tour operators, DMC’s & bed banks. 
  • Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrable ability to handle crises and turn negative into positive.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a friendly manner and provide them with accurate, detailed, and complete travel information.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Flexible and proactive
  • Ability to take responsibility and act accordingly
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask, time management
  • English upper intermediate, is a must
  • Experienced PC user (MS Office)
  • Ready to stay connected 24/7
  • Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred.
